SPECIAL NOTES
The Bay State Degree application includes a community service hours requirement. An instructional document has been created to assist students with completing their applications. This document serves as a guide only. The application and instructional document is located below.
The Star Battery is an optional application for students who apply for their Bay State Degree this year. This program is for students who would like to be considered for one of four State Star Awards. The link to upload the battery is located at the end of the Bay State Degree submission form.
Proficiency Award applications must be created online through a student's FFA.org account. Paper copies of the application itself will not be accepted. The signature page is NOT required for state convention entry. Once the online application is complete, create and submit a PDF copy electronically to the State Office by February 15th.

Advisors generate invitations for FFA members through your Advisor FFA.org account.
The proficiency award application is available online through your "Dashboard".
- Click the dashboard at the top of the screen and select on "Application Hub" from the Quick Access menu.
- Export a pdf copy of the application and submit it electronically to the State FFA Office by February 15th.
